It's no secret why everyone loves fireworks- there's something for everyone!
It seems like more and more families are finding it difficult to find both the activities as well as the time to just be together. With kids overbooked afterschool and parents working there isn't a lot of quality time happening in most homes these days. Sporting teams, computers, culture and other hobbies oftentimes keep friends and families separated as they each enjoy their own unique ventures.
Perhaps this is one of the many reasons American's look forward to the 4th of July fireworks each year. A day that gives families a chance to reconnect. Fireworks offer something for just about everyone of every age. Visit any venue where there is fireworks show and you will see families huddled together pointing, singing and staring up in awe at the incredible party in the sky.

Q: How are the colors made?
A: Master pyrotechnicians build shells with bright burning metallic salts, which may be intensified by adding chlorine compounds. The salts are tightly packed into balls called stars, and placed inside the shell. Experience has shown them that skill--and a bit of knowledge--makes all the difference when it comes to shooting flawless fireworks photos. How to Take the Best Fireworks Video -- Ever!
A fireworks display is one of the most difficult of all subjects to capture on video. The problem is very bright, but very tiny points of light against a dark background. This combination will drive even the best camcorder absolutely nuts.
Here are a few tricks from noted fireworks expert and videographer, Paul Greenwald, that could make this year’s fireworks video the best you’ll ever shoot!
An Explosion of Color
You look to the sky and there it is an explosion of glistening, glimmering color. You get happy, emotional, spiritual, patriotic and a whole slew of feelings are generated--but why? It could be color.
Sure they are loud, exciting and stimulating. But fireworks are colorful and color, afterall is merely energy that we can see and recognize.
